Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will implement and enforce cloud security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with the Security Architecture team to execute on security standards across cloud-native applications and infrastructure.

Our Cloud Security Engineering team serves as the bridge between security policy and practical implementation, ensuring that security is embedded at every layer of our cloud infrastructure. We drive operational efficiency through automation, support incident response efforts, and act as the engineering arm for InfoSec in the cloud space. By partnering with cross-functional teams, we deploy and manage security infrastructure that protects our organization's cloud-native applications and data.

Your Impact:

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will champion DevSecOps practices and drive security automation to improve operational efficiency. You'll implement security architecture standards, automate control executions and account onboarding processes, and support critical incident response and forensic investigations. You'll evaluate and pilot new security technologies, serve as a principal point of contact on security engagements, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across organizational boundaries to ensure comprehensive cloud security coverage.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud and application security
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency with DevSecOps and cloud security tooling, including CSPM/CNAPP platforms, API security, and cloud-native threat detection (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Wiz, AWS GuardDuty, Cloudflare API Shield)
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC, container security, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security
• Experience with SIEM and security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, DISA, MITRE ATT&CK)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex security topics to senior audiences

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $126,000 - $190,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
