Develop and implement corrective action plans when deviations from technical goals, budgets and/or schedules are evident. Seek senior management assistance in resolving schedule and budget problems as they arise.
Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts/subcontracts. Allocate and control contract budgets for labor, material, travel and purchased services. Report program status to senior management on a monthly basis
Identify root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance, and participate/interface with the engineering counterparts on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual and company requirements
Develops best in class programs, systems and processes, including training and coaching to establish clear procedures on safety measures and precautions. Drives key effective, sustainable implementation of safety initiatives, strategies, programs and procedures, responsibilities via hands on leadership, coaching and team work.
Analyze performance data including systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain management, industrial analysis, and EVM performance for trends, and provides pertinent data to the chief engineer.
Collaborates cross-functionally with team members (Business GMs, Product Management, Research & Development, Finance, Legal and others as needed) in support of assessing and closing new business opportunities.
Build a Publications and Graphics Arts organization that is responsive to T-100 program needs, to include internal communications for the T-100 Program Team, external communications for our Customer(s) and proposal development needs.
Ability to complete a technical project independently and mentor and coach other engineers. Review customer specifications and requirements, and develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
