Description & RequirementsPosition SummaryThe Bilingual Presales Solution Architect serves as the national technical lead for Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions and acts as a trusted advisor to customers, sales teams, and strategic partners. This role is responsible for the design, positioning, and scoping of Microsoft-centric solutions, including:
- Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams, and Teams Phone
- Microsoft Intune and Modern Endpoint Management
- Microsoft Entra ID, Defender XDR, Sentinel, and Purview
- Azure infrastructure services and Azure Virtual Desktop
- Cloud migrations, device lifecycle services, and Microsoft CSP licensing
- The successful candidate will work closely with Client Executives, Microsoft representatives, delivery teams, and vendor partners to develop customer-focused solutions that drive revenue growth while ensuring technical excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Presales Leadership- Serve as the national subject matter expert for Microsoft Modern Workplace and Azure solutions.
- Support account executives throughout the entire sales cycle, from discovery to close.
- Conduct customer discovery workshops and lead executive and technical presentations.
- Develop technology roadmaps and modernization strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership on strategic opportunities and RFP/RFQ responses.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customer executives and IT leadership.
Solution ArchitectureDesign and architect solutions spanning Microsoft 365, Copilot, Azure, Teams Phone, Intune, Entra ID, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Azure Virtual Desktop, identity and access management, hybrid cloud, endpoint modernization, cloud migration, and security & compliance services. Produce:
- Statements of Work (SOW), Bills of Material (BOM), and scope documents
- Technical designs, migration plans, and cost models
- Licensing recommendations and optimization analyses
Microsoft Copilot Practice Development- Lead Microsoft Copilot readiness discussions and AI/Copilot assessments.
- Recommend data governance and security controls to prepare customers for Copilot.
- Design Copilot deployment and adoption strategies and support demonstrations.
- Identify opportunities for Copilot expansion and recurring services.
CSP & Licensing Expertise- Provide guidance on Microsoft licensing programs and support CSP opportunities.
- Create licensing optimization recommendations that maximize customer investment.
- Collaborate with Microsoft and distributor partners on funding and incentives.
Quebec & Bilingual Market Leadership- Deliver customer presentations and workshops in both English and French.
- Support public sector and enterprise opportunities within Quebec.
- Participate in French-language RFP responses and act as the primary bilingual technical resource for Microsoft opportunities across Canada.
Internal Enablement- Mentor account executives and technical teams.
- Deliver technical training sessions and develop reusable solution templates and collateral.
- Support go-to-market initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Required Qualifications Experience- 5+ years in a presales, solution architecture, consulting, or technical sales role.
- 5+ years working with Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing consulting and solution design.
- Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and complex procurement opportunities.
- Experience supporting public sector and enterprise customers.
Technical Expertise- Required: Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Teams, Defender suite, and Copilot.
- Strong understanding of cloud migrations, hybrid infrastructure, and endpoint management.
- Knowledge of data protection, security best practices, and AI governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft licensing and CSP programs.
Language Requirements- Fluent spoken and written English - mandatory.
- Fluent spoken and written French - mandatory.
- Ability to conduct workshops and deliver executive presentations in both languages.
