Who we're looking for: The Manager, Contract & Customer Data serves as the accountable owner for the integrity, quality, and governance of Contract Master and Customer Master data across MHA. Reporting to the Director, Data Operations & Transformation, this role leads contract and membership data operations, establishes governance controls and quality standards, and drives process improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the organization. The Manager oversees contract configuration, pricing controls, member onboarding, eligibility, and roster management while partnering cross-functionally to ensure reliable data supports reporting, member access, rebates, and business operations. Additionally, this role leads a team responsible for data quality, operational execution, continuous improvement, and the adoption of standardized processes and controls.
What You'll Be Doing: Data Governance & Stewardship- Own end-to-end stewardship of Contract Master and Customer Master data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, completeness, and timeliness across both domains.
- Establish and maintain data governance standards, definitions, and controls; define clear ownership, handoff gates, and escalation rights between intake, contract setup, membership, and reconciliation.
Contract & Membership Data Management- Ensure accurate contract configuration, pricing maintenance, approvals, and contract-load integrity to support member access to MHA programs and benefits.
- Oversee member onboarding, eligibility, and maintenance, ensuring new members are set up correctly and accurately linked to wholesalers and business partners before affiliation.
- Maintain agreement and contract-tracking records (signature dates, renewals) so accurate data is available to Sales, account, reporting, and Reconciliation teams.
Data Quality & Operational Controls- Implement preventive controls, quality checks, and exception management processes to identify and resolve data issues before they impact downstream operations, reporting, rebates, pricing, or member access.
- Resolve data discrepancies, operational exceptions, and escalations while maintaining appropriate controls and documentation.
- Monitor data quality performance, trends, risks, and operational metrics, reporting results and recommendations to leadership.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement- Analyze and improve cross-functional processes to reduce manual effort, increase scalability, strengthen controls, and improve operational performance.
- Apply Lean, PDCA, DMAIC, value-stream mapping, and automation principles to drive continuous improvement and sustainable process enhancements.
- Develop, maintain, and standardize operating procedures, workflows, and process documentation.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration- Lead, coach, and develop the combined team; set performance goals, establish deputy/team-lead coverage and clear decision rights, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Trade, Reconciliation, Data, Finance, and Member Experience.
- Partner with Sales, Trade, Finance, Reconciliation, Data, Member Experience, Contracts, Membership, and IT teams to improve data integrity, streamline operations, and achieve business objectives.
What You'll Bring to the Table: - Bachelor's degree/Associate degree OR equivalent work experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, data management, contract administration, membership administration, or a related business function with progressive responsibility.
- 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience, including coaching, performance management, and employee development.
- Experience managing data governance, data quality, master data, and operational controls within a transactional or data-intensive environment.
- Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, DMAIC, business process reengineering, value stream mapping, or similar methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, advanced Excel, or similar analytical tools, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, develop metrics, and support operational decision-making.
- Experience establishing and monitoring operational metrics, service levels, quality controls, and performance reporting.
- Experience with contract administration, pricing management, membership operations, eligibility management, customer master data, roster management, or related business processes strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive execution across multiple business functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
