Full Job Description
Position: Manager, Clinical Marketing

Reports to: Vice President, Marketing

The position of Marketing Programs Manager will report directly to the VP of Marketing and will have responsibility for translating clinical evidence into impactful and actionable programs and materials

In this role, you will:

The position will be responsible for building programs to enhance market adoption and manage physician engagements across the business.

Programs will include, but are not limited to: translation of key clinical evidence into actionable materials and content for physicians and sales personnel; development of sales initiatives and tools, which may include

  • development of case study series
  • competitive toolkits (customer facing and internal training to accompany);
  • working with physicians and the field to develop a KOL speakers bureau and then utilizing that bureau to develop podium presentations and symposia at major congresses or regional meeting or virtual platforms such as webinars;
  • coordinating physician engagement opportunities across the multiple touchpoints in the business.
  • Support development of physician training materials on the proper use of HAI, patient selection, dosing, etc

The position will offer direct input to and receive output from marketing management as well as sales and clinical.

Responsibilities Manager will play a significant role in the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics either directly or in conjunction with product management and sales, with a significant focus on clinical and physician engagement strategies, program includes: advisory boards, webinar series, symposia, clinical campaigns, speaker programs,

Manager will manage and execute medical advisory board meetings and relationships.

Manage the development of clinical presentations for internal and external use, for such programs as speakers bureau or scientific symposia.

Collaborate with medical affairs on clinical literature monitoring and reporting (industry and competitive); tracking and reporting relevant clinical literature activity; develop literature summaries and analyses, and support communications for the sales organizations and other stakeholders as needed in conjunction with product marketing.

Establish key customer relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, and other key hospital staff through the local sales organization.

Manager will be responsible for operating within the budget and managing the day to day operating expenses associated with the company's business plans.

Follow and enforce all corporate policies including compliance processes and procedures of HCPs.

will have at least eight years of relevant clinical, sales and marketing experience at progressive levels of the companies in which (s)he has participated. Oncology background is preferred

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or
    • Minimum 7 years of clinical experience with at least 5 years in clinical marketing in progressive levels at medical device or pharma companies
  • Skills:
    • Very comfortable with complex clinical content-able to understand and articulate clinical data to physician audiences
    • Able to translate complex clinical data into impact
    • Highly skilled in developing impactful marketing and communication materials and campaigns
    • Demonstrated success with direct to direct to physician and patient marketing programs
    • Proactive, self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision and check in regularly on progress
    • An expert project manager able to execute on time and with attention to detail and able to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
    • A skilled story teller, able to articulate concisely and impactfully
    • Advanced proficiency in creating memorable Power Point presentations, including content and visuals
    • Enthusiastic and passionate with a can-do attitude strong work ethic, and ownership of execution and outcomes
