Job Description:

Your Mission

We are looking for a Voice Over Designer to help craft this new game for Blizzard. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing player-facing dialogue from planning through final delivery.

This role offers a hybrid work week, with a mix of work-from-home and on-site days, based out of our Irvine studio.

Responsibilities

This role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Coordinate the tracking, organization, implementation, and delivery of player-facing dialogue throughout development.
• Partner with narrative design, audio, production, localization, quality assurance, and other disciplines to support dialogue workflows and deliverables.
• Maintain dialogue databases, documentation, spreadsheets, naming conventions, and supporting management tools.
• Review in-game dialogue implementation to ensure quality, consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
• Support dialogue reviews and playtests by identifying issues, documenting findings, and coordinating follow-up actions.
• Plan and track voice-over recording needs, implementation status, dependencies, and milestones.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate dialogue according to established creative and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation for dialogue workflows, processes, and implementation standards.
• Communicate status, needs, risks, and dependencies clearly to appropriate partners.
• Champion high standards of quality, accessibility, usability, and player experience throughout development

Minimum Requirements
• 5+ years of applicable professional experience supporting dialogue, narrative, audio, localization, production, game development, entertainment, or related workflows.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex dialogue assets across multiple partners and cross-functional teams.
• Experience organizing and maintaining large volumes of dialogue assets, documentation, spreadsheets, databases, or tracking systems.
• Working knowledge of voice-over production, dialogue implementation, localization, and game development pipelines.
• Proficiency with digital audio workstations such as REAPER or Pro Tools and game audio middleware such as Wwise.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across creative and technical disciplines.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, problem-solving ability, and comfort operating in a dynamic environment while navigating fluid deadlines and changing priorities with purpose.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $30.47 - $56.35 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
