Sr. Manager - GCE Manufacturing Controls Engineering - OnsiteValley City, OH, United StatesWhat You'll Do:As a GCE Sr. Manager - Manufacturing Controls Engineering, you'll be part of our GCE (Global Capital Engineering) team. You'll get to:
- Manage, Develop and Grow a team consisting of controls and robotics engineers to maximize productivity.
- Support Strategy/Footprint team when required for any product equipment transfers.
- Implement and oversee the execution of productivity projects within the region, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Monitor and report on the progress of productivity projects, identifying any issues or delays and developing solutions to address them.
- Develop and execute training programs to upskill plant engineering staff, ensuring they are equipped with the latest manufacturing engineering techniques and practices.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings across regional manufacturing operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting GCE teams in their development and the optimization of manufacturing processes.
- Build and maintain close relationships with Mfg. sites, critical business support functions in region and critical strategic external automation partners/suppliers.

- Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of robotic cells, PLC-controlled equipment, HMI systems, sensors, drives, and integrated automation systems.
- Partner with plant teams and suppliers to implement and standardize robotics and controls solutions that improve safety, uptime, and productivity.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering engineering projects, preferably with experience in Protrak project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex engineering processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and develop engineering teams.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Microsoft Office, Power BI
- Strong understanding of general LEAN principals, manufacturing principles, DFM, and DFA
- Strong expertise in robotics, industrial automation, and manufacturing control systems.
- Experience with PLC programming/troubleshooting, HMI interfaces, sensors, servo drives, and robotic manufacturing applications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical problem-solving for complex automated equipment and controls-based production systems.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.

The Salary range for this position is $110,600.00 - $178,000.00
