Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead on client implementations and larger project engagements.
  • Conduct technical overviews to align Alloy solutions with client business goals.
  • Serve as an expert advisor on data vendor integrations.
  • Integrate Alloy's API into client applications.
  • Run end-to-end testing for client go-live readiness.
  • Support production launches and participate in client production readiness discussions outside standard 9a-5p hours.
  • Drive client adoption of Alloy's products and help develop technical documentation to address client needs.

About the team

Solutions Architects play a major role in Alloy's Technical Solutions organization and are paramount to deal success. The Solutions Architect is responsible for delivering the technical win for client accounts. You will handle the technical post-sales relationship, present product fit, propose technical architectures, demonstrate the product, anticipate concerns, and offer creative technical solutions to Alloy clients.

Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our employees onsite three days a week.
What you'll be doing

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll:
  • Act as the technical lead on multiple client implementations and larger client project engagements, working closely with Alloy Implementations Managers
  • Conduct technical and architectural overviews of client needs to propose Alloy product solutions to deliver on the client's business goals
  • Act as an expert advisor on the data vendors Alloy integrates with
  • Help to integrate Alloy's API into an app in code
  • Independently run end to end testing to ensure a successful client go live
  • Be a part of a client production readiness and support production launches (these occasionally occur outside of 9a-5p hours)
  • Serve as a client advocate by advocating for the evolution of Alloy's products and services and driving client adoption of new capabilities
  • Support the development of technical documentation and FAQs to serve client needs
Who we're looking for

You are both highly technical and a skilled relationship builder. You are comfortable in front of a variety of audiences, from explaining Alloy's best practices to a bank's compliance team to mapping an API flow on a whiteboard with a Fintech product and Engineering team. Alloy's post-sales process is highly consultative and requires our team to be flexible, creative, and empathetic.
  • 4+ years experience implementing and supporting complex technical products with a strong desire to work in a post-sales, client-facing role
  • Hands-on, passionate and creative problem solver
  • Brings judgement to client discussions, focused on leading clients to successful outcomes aligned with their long term business goals
  • Excellent communicator and presenter able to gain diverse audience confidence and buy-in
  • Ability to build a deep understanding of a client's needs and guide them to a technical solution
  • Proven success in problem-solving with and for enterprises with a variety of requirements and technical ability levels
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Previous software development experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
    • backend (Node.js, Python)
    • web development (Javascript, HTML/CSS, frontend frameworks - React)
  • Able to travel occasionally (approximately once per quarter) for client on-sites.
  • Previous experience at a Fintech Startup or in the KYC/Compliance space is a huge plus!

Alloy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Below is the anticipated starting base compensation range for this role; however, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, in-demand skills, relevant experience, and/or geography. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs) as well as a competitive total benefits package. Your recruiter will be happy to walk you through the details and what compensation could look like for you specifically!

This position has a salary range of $150,000 to $190,000.
