Job Description:

Able to lead and manage multiple small to medium size projects with same or similar customer / region. Responsible to contribute to the company's financial targets while meeting all deliverables and milestones for the project.

Key Accountabilities

  • The Senior Project Manager has the overall projects supervision and is responsible for their project P&L.
  • Coordinate the team regarding resources allocations within the projects with the Project Portfolio Director / Project Director,
  • monitor and control the Projects and reports on the overall performance.
  • Drive project execution and controlling until contract closure, supporting the team with a particular focus on:
  • Managing performance, costs, schedule, quality, and risks & opportunities for mitigation actions.
  • Managing interface with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction for the project(s).
  • Understanding product development dependencies
  • Implementing with the support of Operations (PMO) a solid and comprehensive EAC process, sales and cash forecasts and risks & opportunities management
  • Follow Group processes, methods, tools and practices to deliver projects
  • Monitoring the performance of the different activities in all work packages.
  • Ensuring lessons learned and drive Projects execution towards continuous improvement. This covers, in particular, direct contribution to Transformation plans and execution of postmortem Projects lessons learnt.
  • Managing URS Projects Management resources in their project(s), ensuring their optimum competence, development, satisfaction, supporting the Company's footprints and SBP business goals
  • Ensuring the development and training of Project skills and expertise to ensure that the required level is achieved and sustained
  • Possess the ability to share vision and demonstrate direction from a leadership perspective, thus fostering a single path for the projects team in their project(s). Furthermore, demonstrate strength with compassion, creating an environment where the project team is motivated and focused on the objectives.
  • Display strong communications skills ensuring clarity with senior management, key customers and the projects teams of their projects.


Key Requirements

  • 15 years of experience in related industry or from technical/aerospace field
  • 5 -10 years of experience as a project manager with people management / leadership experience
  • University degree in Engineering (Electronic, Telecommunications, or Informatics) or equivalent experience gained through professional practice.
  • Strong technical expertise in Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) railway signaling system
  • Previous experience leading international projects in a matrix environment
  • Able to deliver under pressure.
  • PMP or IPMA
  • Located in GTA area


Total Compensation Range (Base Salary + Annual Incentive plan) : $151,559 - $190,964
