Responsibilities

About the Team The Safety Product (or Platform Responsibility)team is at the forefront of building and optimizing content safety systems. With a focus on optimising and advancing content safety, we leverage advanced large language models to enhance review efficiency, risk control, and user trust. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, we deliver scalable solutions that keep pace with rapid global growth. Responsibilities: - Define, own, and evolve success metrics that reflect end-user goals and platform integrity outcomes, using data to guide prioritization and product decisions. - Own ideation, prioritization, and end-to-end execution for your product area within TikTok Integrity & Authenticity, spanning design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch iteration. - Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives by building alignment and influence across global teams, including Engineering, Data Science, Policy, Operations, and Design. - Leverage AI-driven detection models and ML-powered moderation systems-with a foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-to reduce misinformation, minimize both leakage and over-enforcement, and strengthen user trust. - Design and scale agentic workflows that retrieve supporting evidence, assess factual claims, and drive detection, moderation, and removal of misleading content, combining model reasoning, policy logic, and human review where appropriate. - Identify emerging risks and strategic opportunities across misinformation and integrity domains, translating external signals and internal insights into actionable, measurable product solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager (or a strong demonstrated ability to rapidly develop PM expertise through ownership, execution, and impact). - Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured solutions. - Evidence-based and data-driven mindset; comfortable using metrics, experimentation, and analysis to identify problems, uncover opportunities, and drive continuous improvement. - Clear communicator who can articulate product vision, execution trade-offs, and delivery challenges, and lead deep cross-team collaboration to solve complex problems. Preferred Qualifications - Proven experience or working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning systems, particularly applied to real-world products. - Experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Integrity, or related domains. - Familiarity with policy-driven systems and human-in-the-loop workflows is a plus.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $151200 - $311600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
