Who we need

Reporting to the VP, VAS Strategy & Operations, we are hiring a Senior Manager, VAS Product Innovation & Delivery Operations. As our new Senior Manager, you will act as the operational bridge between Valuation Advisory Services (VAS), Product, and Engineering, translating business priorities into clear requirements and ensuring they move through the delivery lifecycle with structure, visibility, and momentum. You will bring discipline to intake, backlog management, governance, delivery tracking, testing, and release readiness while partnering closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and Product Managers. You will help establish a scalable, repeatable operating model for how VAS identifies, prioritizes, and delivers new capabilities through the ARGUS Intelligence platform, reducing reliance on individual knowledge and creating greater transparency and consistency across the process.

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario.

What's in it for you

Ownership and influence. You will take ownership of the operating rhythm that connects VAS business priorities with Product and Engineering delivery. You will bring greater structure, visibility, and consistency to how requirements are captured, priorities are advanced, and decisions move into execution. Working closely with senior business leaders, subject matter experts, and Product Managers, you will help operationalize what the next generation of CRE Valuation and Insights workflows will look like, with meaningful influence over how new capabilities are shaped and delivered through the ARGUS Intelligence platform.

Broad exposure and collaboration. You will work at the intersection of business, product, and technology, gaining visibility into how priorities are shaped and translated into solutions. You will build relationships across VAS, Product, Engineering, and other enabling teams while developing a broad understanding of the commercial real estate industry, the business needs shaping the market, and the delivery considerations and dependencies behind evolving products and capabilities.

Build and improve how work gets done. VAS is evolving toward a more scalable and repeatable operating model, creating an opportunity for you to help shape the processes that support that transition. You will identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate how work moves from idea through delivery, creating practices that reduce reliance on individual knowledge and make execution more transparent and repeatable.

As our new Senior Manager, VAS Product Innovation & Delivery Operations, you will:
  • Translate business needs into actionable requirements. You will work with VAS business leaders, subject matter experts, and the VAS Product Council to understand priorities and translate business needs into clear, structured requirements. You will maintain a consistent intake process and a reliable source of truth so priorities are documented, understood, and ready to move forward.
  • Manage the backlog and delivery readiness. You will partner closely with Product Managers to maintain and refine the product backlog, supporting prioritization, identifying dependencies, and ensuring requirements are ready for sprint planning and delivery. You will connect business priorities with solution discussions, timelines, and feedback throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Drive the operating rhythm. You will facilitate governance meetings, working sessions, prioritization forums, and sprint demos, bringing structure and accountability to how work progresses. You will ensure decisions, actions, risks, dependencies, and blockers are visible, documented, and followed through to resolution.
  • Coordinate delivery and release readiness. You will track progress across VAS, Product, Engineering, and other teams, proactively identifying issues and escalating blockers when needed. You will coordinate testing and UAT, prepare business users for new capabilities, and capture post-release feedback to help inform future priorities.
  • Build more scalable ways of working. You will identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate how VAS operates, helping turn individual knowledge and practices into repeatable processes. You will document requirements, decisions, delivery outcomes, and lessons learned, using insights from completed initiatives to continuously improve how new capabilities move from business need to implementation.

You bring:
  • The experience. You have worked in product operations, product delivery, business analysis, program management, or a related role where you have helped move complex product or platform initiatives from business need through delivery. You understand how to bring structure to evolving priorities, manage dependencies and stakeholders, and keep multiple workstreams moving forward while maintaining alignment across business, Product, Engineering, and other teams.
  • The product and delivery mindset. You know how to turn business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, or implementation plans that Product and Engineering teams can act on. You have experience working with backlogs and supporting activities such as prioritization, sprint planning, demos, UAT, testing, and release readiness.
  • The ability to connect business and technology. You can work effectively with business leaders, subject matter experts, Product Managers, and technical teams, translating across different perspectives and keeping everyone aligned on priorities, decisions, and next steps. You are confident, engaging senior stakeholders, asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions, and balancing competing demands while keeping multiple priorities and workstreams moving forward.
  • The organizational skills. You bring structure and clarity to complex work. You can manage multiple priorities, timelines, risks, decisions, and dependencies while maintaining clear documentation and ensuring commitments are followed through. You communicate clearly in writing and conversation and can adapt the level of detail for working teams, senior leaders, and executives.
  • The critical thinking. You are curious and resourceful, with the judgment to look beyond the immediate request and understand the business problem behind it. You can translate and articulate complex ideas in simple, clear terms, adapting your communication to different audiences. You are comfortable using AI and other tools to work more effectively while applying your own judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail to ensure the quality of your work.
  • The industry and tools. Experience with commercial real estate, valuation, or a related environment would help you ramp up quickly but is not required. Familiarity with backlog and delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Aha!, or similar platforms, as well as collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Confluence, is an asset.

Nice to Have

Experience in commercial real estate, valuation, or a related industry would be an asset, as would familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Aha!, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Confluence. Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation, or process improvement initiatives would also be beneficial, but none of these are required for you to succeed in the role.

Apply now

If you're excited about this role but your experience aligns differently with every requirement, we encourage you to apply. While specific qualifications may be strictly required, others can be based on various experiences, backgrounds, and knowledge. We can't promise an interview, but we will consider your whole application.

What you can expect from our interview process:
  • A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor to discuss your interest in joining the company and in the role. The conversation will be recorded using BrightHire, an AI-powered video interview tool. More details will be shared when you are invited to interview.
  • An in-person interview with the VP, Strategy & Operations focused on your experience, approach to product and delivery operations, critical thinking, and ability to work across business and technology teams.
  • A virtual panel interview with key stakeholders from VAS and Product. You will have the opportunity to discuss how you translate business needs into actionable requirements, navigate competing priorities, and build strong cross-functional relationships while learning more about how the teams will work together.
