Full Job Description
The Senior Manager, Alliance Program Management is responsible for leading and managing strategic partnerships and collaborations with external partners, including CDMOs, CMOs, and research organizations. This role serves as the primary operational interface between RayzeBio and its alliance partners, ensuring seamless execution of joint programs across process development and manufacturing, with a specific focus on radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT) programs. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in pharmaceutical process development and manufacturing, combined with exceptional program management capabilities across site and global program teams.

Job Responsibilities

Alliance Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and operational liaison for assigned external alliances and partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with partner organizations at all levels
  • Facilitate joint governance meetings, steering committees, and operational reviews with alliance partners
  • Drive alignment on program objectives, timelines, deliverables, and performance expectations
  • Ensure compliance with alliance agreements, contracts, and collaboration frameworks
  • Monitor partner performance against contractual obligations and key performance indicators (KPIs)


Program Management:
  • Lead cross-functional teams across internal RayzeBio functions (Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Legal) and external partners to deliver on program goals
  • Work effectively across site-level and global program teams, aligning priorities and activities to deliver on both organizational objectives and individual program goals
  • Develop, manage, and maintain integrated program plans, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent alliances and geographically distributed teams
  • Ensure all program activities are executed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Serve as a connective bridge between site operations teams and global program leadership, ensuring local execution is aligned with enterprise-wide strategic priorities
  • Applies AI to improve team execution and decision-making


Communication and Reporting:
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise program status reports and executive-level updates to senior leadership across site and global organizations
  • Translate complex technical and operational information into accessible insights for stakeholders at all levels
  • Foster a culture of transparency and open communication across all alliance interfaces, including geographically dispersed teams


Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nuclear Chemistry, Radiochemistry, or a related scientific discipline; advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) strongly preferred
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in process development and/or manufacturing roles; small molecule and/or RPT modality experience is a plus
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of process development, API manufacturing, tech transfer, CMC activities, and GMP manufacturing operations; working knowledge of radiopharmaceutical manufacturing principles, isotope logistics, and RPT-specific regulatory frameworks is a plus
  • Program/Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-site programs in a pharma/biotech environment; PMP certification is a plus
  • Alliance Management: Prior experience managing external partnerships, CDMOs, or strategic alliances preferred
  • Global Team Experience: Proven ability to operate across site-based and global program teams, navigating matrix organizations and aligning groups toward shared objectives

Compensation Overview:

Indianapolis - RayzeBio - IN: $143,622 - $174,036

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off
  • US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited, with manager approval, 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)
  • Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt, Non-Exempt, Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays


Based on eligibility*, additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.

All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
