This RoleThe most impactful opportunities are often the hardest to get in front of. As our Senior Field ABM and Events Manager, you'll partner directly with stakeholders across Norm Ai and Norm Law to run high-impact field programs for our key audiences and execute 1:1 ABM plays for our most strategic clients. You'll challenge the status quo in field marketing to create unique experiences and moments that identify new opportunities, build brand trust, and move deals forward.
The role will build the strategic field & ABM events program from the ground up. Expect increasing scope, budget, and responsibility as we scale.
What You'll Do- Design the strategy: Define the go-to-market strategy for field programs: what we do, where we show up, and how we win in this market
- Own end to end execution: Develop programs from scratch, execute flawlessly, and create meaningful engagement opportunities with leaders that drive pipeline growth and revenue.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration: You'll partner directly with ADs, and FDLEs (Forward-Deployed Legal Engineers) to run high-impact field programs across segments and execute 1:1 ABM plays for our most strategic accounts.
- Build the programming: Design 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many field marketing experiences (conferences, client workshops, executive dinners, etc) that align to active opportunities and target accounts.
- Partner and collaborate with executives: Drive executive Partner with senior executives, including C-Suite, Advisory Board, and Partners, to understand account dynamics, GTM strategy, and programming gaps - actively shaping deal strategy, not just executing events
- Identify new opportunities: Drive both strategy and execution: identify existing and net-new conferences, owned events, and field tactics that reach legal leaders most effectively, then run point from creative brainstorming through post-event follow-up
- Deliver results: Own outcomes across executive access, account penetration, opportunity acceleration, and pipeline growth
What We're Looking ForCore Qualifications- 5-7+ years of experience in field, events, or ABM marketing
- A track record of building an events strategy vs. simply managing an established calendar
- Creative and strategic thinking, you can turn a vague idea or goal into a concrete, compelling plan and see it through to execution
- Exceptional executive presences. You have the confidence to engage senior leaders as a peer, not just a planner, and you build credibility fast.
- Strong ownership of programming, where to prioritize, how to move projects forward, and work quickly
Nice to Have- Familiarity with AI, legal technology, regulation and policy, or another complex enterprise category
- An established network across vendors, production, and other teams to help execute events.
- Managed an events program for a fast-paced, growing enterprise business
What Success Looks Like30 Days- Develop a strong understanding of Norm's GTM model, business priorities, audiences, and existing event commitments.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders and assess current partners, processes, and capabilities.
60 Days- Present a prioritized field and ABM events strategy, including where Norm should host, partner, sponsor, and build net new programming.
- Define initial concepts, target audiences, content packages, budgets, and success measures for priority programs.
90 Days- Establish a clear roadmap for Norm's strategic event programming
- Move the first priority program into execution with aligned stakeholders, ownership, timelines, and measurement.
Compensation and BenefitsBase Salary: $140K - $180K
The range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new-hire salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
