The Regional Controls Engineer provides technical expertise and direction for control and automation systems; this position assists with control and automation systems, data acquisition, and production network management.
Understanding the business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating business needs to functional/technical specifications that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike.
Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide status reports where required; must conform to established GAF coding standards, follow standard GAF deployment and SDLC processes and review the work of other programmers to ensure quality standards are met.
Act as an advisor to senior executives, providing external communications counsel and coaching for media interviews and external speaking events; create and manage editorial calendar to maximize media coverage and exposure.
Creates increased employee engagement by connecting employees to the company's purpose and values through creative storytelling and content creation; depicts company business strategy in action across internal channels.
Lead the creation, curation and management of all published social content; collaborate with other team members to create original content; ensure social strategies are in continual alignment with business objectives.
Develop, continually improve and competently deliver both technical and sales training seminars for gaf residential solar customers including contractors, owners, distributors, specifiers, architects and others.
