As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Asset & Wealth Management Technology Team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneouslyeffectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. The Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Technology Strategy team partners with senior leaders to define and execute technology priorities, drive strategic initiatives, and support decision-making across the organization. Your problem-solving skills will help deliver projects that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders.Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Job responsibilities

  • Lead the development technology strategy and priorities, and execution and delivery across the technology and business teams
  • Scope problems, identify major issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions, and qualify the implications and so whats
  • Conduct research and analysis on technology trends and innovation opportunities and perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public source
  • Work with team to develop work plans to test / evaluate strategies and insights which could span process improvement, organizational change, and functional strategy efforts
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and communications
  • Advise and influence senior leaders and executives on key business decisions and major change initiatives
  • Develop deep trust-based advisor relationships with key stakeholders and ensure client is satisfied throughout engagement
  • Work collaboratively with team members across lines of business and cross-functional teams; maintain composure and presence in difficult stakeholder meets
  • Develop junior team members both formally and informally, including serving as a mentor
  • Identify potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Strong experience in formulating and executing strategies that align with business objectives across modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analytics, and emerging technologies. Ability to assess market trends and identify opportunities for technology applications within the organization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
  • Proven track record of leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve
  • Strong technical fluency, with deep familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies
  • Excellent and efficient skills using spreadsheets, presentation tools and AI applications
  • Design and lead the planning and coordination of leadership meetings and strategic events
  • Lead one or more client projects, including managing multiple people across several workstreams
  • Collaborate with the team to build hypothesis sets, analyses, and roadmaps for solutions
