Work on special projects to formulate marketing and research strategies, oftentimes in partnership with the marketing team; organize meetings, round tables and teleconferences with investors and Fitch senior sector analysts.
Producing quality internal and external written reports including credit committees, criteria, special reports and market commentary;
analyzing critical credit, legal and structural elements of asset backed transaction structures.
Identify Rating product gaps, in particular with respect to other rating agencies and more general credit risk management firms. Identify and prioritize enhancements regarding existing Rating products.
Facilitate dialog with external parties to tap into opportunities before they go into auction process; compile extensive market research, including conducting and synthesizing expert and customer interviews.
Review and amend Fitch's internal policies and procedures for consistency with, and facilitation of, business practices, while being compliant with applicable laws/regulations; draft new policies/procedures if necessary.
Performing analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality of companies in the Retail and Consumer sector;
conducting and/or participating in meetings with Retail and Consumer industry management teams.
Develop knowledge of cloud-based computing, infrastructure as code, build and deployment processes and tools for monitoring and alerting; adopt test driven development techniques to optimize the software development process.
Act as a research leader in Public Finance and Infrastructure. Coordinate with other members of the Fitch Wire team and Credit Policy leadership to help develop and drive research themes and ideas within the wider company.
