- Job Description
- Lead functional delivery and solution design for SAP Business Network for Supply Chain (formerly SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration / Ariba SCC) implementations, migrations, and support engagements.
- Lead customer workshops to understand business requirements, assess existing supply chain processes, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate solution approaches.
- Define the functional solution and prepare scenario-based demonstrations covering supplier collaboration and supply chain business processes.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs, user stories, backlog items, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Own the preparation and review of Functional Design Document (FDD), configuration documents, process flows, and other functional deliverables.
- Lead functional configuration and solution validation for SAP Business Network for Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
- Drive supply chain collaboration scenarios, including purchase order collaboration, order confirmations, delivery schedules, advance shipping notifications (ASNs), goods receipts, and related supplier collaboration processes.
- Lead integration discussions between SAP Business Network for Supply Chain and SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA through SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), coordinating with ABAP and integration teams on IDocs, mappings, interface errors, and data reconciliation.
- Work closely with SAP MM, ABAP, middleware, Basis, and other functional teams to resolve cross-functional dependencies and integration issues.
- Define the functional testing strategy, review test scenarios, oversee unit and integration testing, and ensure defects are resolved before deployment.
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, go-live execution, and hyper care activities.
- Manage functional workstreams, prioritise deliverables, track risks and dependencies, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Mentor functional consultants, review their deliverables, provide guidance on solution design, and ensure adherence to project standards.
- Participate in project governance meetings, prepare functional status updates, communicate risks, and provide regular updates to project managers and customer stakeholders.
- Support production issue resolution, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend sustainable corrective actions.

- Job Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of SAP functional consulting experience, with strong expertise in SAP MM and SAP Business Network for Supply Chain (formerly Ariba SCC) or SAP Ariba Commerce Automation.
- Experience in solution design, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional configuration, and preparation of functional design specifications.
- Strong understanding of SAP Ariba CIG integration with SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA, including IDocs, interface monitoring, data mapping, and integration troubleshooting.
- Ability to work with ABAP developers and integration teams to investigate technical issues and drive end-to-end resolution. Basic ABAP debugging knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent customer-facing skills, with experience leading workshops, presenting solutions, managing expectations, and facilitating functional design decisions.
- Experience managing functional teams, reviewing deliverables, mentoring consultants, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong experience in SIT, UAT, defect management, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, identify project risks, resolve functional dependencies, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- SAP Business Network for Supply Chain and/or SAP MM certification is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Preferred Skills
- Strong functional expertise in SAP Business Network for Supply Chain/ Commerce Automation and SAP MM procurement processes.
- Experience in SAP Ariba CIG and end-to-end SAP-to-Ariba integration scenarios.
- Knowledge of supplier onboarding and enablement, supplier collaboration, and procurement transformation.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate, fit-to-standard workshops, Agile delivery, and backlog management.
- Ability to lead distributed teams and coordinate across functional, technical, and integration workstreams.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
