Product Manager, PharmacyPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Product Manager, Pharmacy to join the pharmacy product team and build the technology behind our digital pharmacy. This position plays a key role in supporting the Product department (inferred from the reporting line; not explicitly labeled in the source) and reports to the Director of Product, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.
As the first digital pharmacy to offer direct-to-patient (DTP) at scale, Gifthealth is building a pharmacy experience that helps patients start and stay on treatment, with no friction from intake to delivery and adherence. This role adds product capacity to the pharmacy build. You'll work side by side with an Engineering Lead and a team of engineers, with real autonomy to choose what matters most and make the case for it. You'll decide what to build, shape it with engineering, ship it, and show what changed because of it. This is a technical environment, and you'll be expected to go deep on how pharmacy systems and workflows actually work.
This is a hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio. You'll be on site regularly, close to the pharmacy staff who use what we build every day.
Key Responsibilities- Own the roadmap and delivery for assigned areas of the pharmacy platform, partnering daily with the Engineering Lead and engineers from discovery through release.
- Choose priorities with a clear point of view, and explain the trade-offs behind them to engineering, operations, and leadership.
- Define the outcome each piece of work is meant to drive, set the measures that show whether it worked, and report on results after launch.
- Translate pharmacy operations and dispensing workflows into clear problem statements, requirements, and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from.
- Spend time on site with pharmacists, technicians, and other pharmacy staff to observe their workflows, understand where they break down, and find where technology can remove manual effort.
- Make sound product decisions in a regulated environment, working with compliance and clinical stakeholders so what we build meets pharmacy and industry requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Design, Data and Analytics, and Client Success to make sure what we build for the pharmacy meets partner needs.
- Use AI tools to speed up analysis, documentation, and prototyping, and share what works with the team.
- Take work off the pharmacy product team's plate and raise risks and dependencies early.
