This role will translate business priorities into sequenced engineering work, manage internal platform consumers, evaluate AI vendors and proofs of concept, and establish measurable adoption, usage, and cost metrics. The position requires strong technical fluency across APIs, identity, integration patterns, and AI/LLM systems, along with the ability to participate effectively in design reviews and make product decisions across competing stakeholder priorities.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the AI platform roadmap backlog, sequencing work based on business value and defined acceptance criteria.
• Run the portfolio intake process end-to-end, coordinating technical assessments with the Enterprise AI Architect and maintaining documented decisions.
• Manage the AI platform as a product, including onboarding internal consumers and tracking adoption, usage, and cost metrics.
• Build queries and dashboards to support platform usage, adoption, cost, and value reporting.
• Lead vendor proofs of concept as structured product evaluations, including timelines, evaluation criteria, gate decisions, and decision memos.
• Partner with the AI Product Owner to translate prioritized business demand into appropriately scoped and sequenced engineering work.
• Establish instrumentation requirements and metrics programs to measure platform adoption, usage, costs, and value realization.
• Produce accurate, verifiable program metrics and executive-level reporting.
• Develop decision memos, gate reviews, and metrics narratives for executive stakeholders.
• Ensure the intake process is implemented and consistently used for new AI platform requests.
• Ensure roadmap priorities appropriately guide sprint commitments and engineering delivery.
• Deliver adoption, usage, and cost metrics to support ongoing value reporting.

Required Qualifications
• 5-8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or Platform Product Manager within a platform, API, or infrastructure organization.
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, identity, integration patterns, and AI/LLM systems.
• Ability to participate effectively in technical design reviews and develop meaningful acceptance criteria for AI-enabled solutions.
• Hands-on experience querying data, building dashboards, and prototyping against AI APIs.
• Experience managing intake or prioritization processes with decision-making responsibility across competing senior stakeholders.
• Experience developing metrics programs, including instrumentation requirements, adoption reporting, and cost reporting.
• Strong executive-level written communication skills, including decision memos, gate reviews, and metrics narratives.
• Experience working with AI assistants and productivity tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot for analysis, drafting, and program operations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing AI/ML platform products.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs, including collaboration with external consulting partners.
• Familiarity with value-realization or benefits-tracking frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or Jira at the workflow-design level.
