Job Duties
• Support research and development efforts for nucleic acid biomarker isolation and quantification.
• Lead or participate in research programs for the development of novel biomedical tools in areas such as biosensor development, ultra-sensitive detection of biomolecules, biomaterials, and spectroscopy.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to advance current research portfolio
• Prepare technical documents, such as publications, proposals, SOPs, and reports.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in biological or chemical engineering, or related discipline.
• 3-5+ years of postdoctoral or industrial experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead others in designing and developing experiments, and analyzing and interpreting data.
• Demonstrated ability to perform collaborative research in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent written and oral scientific communication skills.
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident due to government contract requirements.
