The RoleWe are seeking a strategic and experienced
Lead, Business Architecture professional to drive the alignment of business strategy, capabilities, and operational execution across the enterprise. This role is responsible for establishing and leading business architecture frameworks, guiding transformation initiatives, and ensuring end-to-end integration between business processes, products, and technology.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, enterprise thinking, and hands-on experience driving business transformation in complex environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis position will require you to work onsite at our Frisco, TX location 4-5 days a week- Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise business architecture, including capability models, value streams, and operating models
- Align business strategy with execution by translating strategic objectives into actionable frameworks and initiatives
- Drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including process optimization, modernization, and organizational design
- Partner with executive stakeholders, product management, and IT leadership to ensure alignment across business and technology domains
- Develop and evolve business capability maps to support prioritization, investment planning, and roadmap development
- Identify operational gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies; recommend and implement improvements
- Establish and enforce business architecture standards, governance, and best practices
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders and define businessrequirements
- Collaborate with enterprise architects (data, application, and technology) to ensure integrated, scalable solutions
- Support portfolio planning, investment decisions, and benefits realization tracking
- Mentor and guide junior architects and analysts

Who You AreRequired Qualifications- This position will require you to work onsite at our Frisco, TX location 4-5 days a week
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, management consulting, or transformation roles
- Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation or modernization initiatives
- Deep knowledge of business architecture frameworks (e.g., BIZBOK, TOGAF)
- Strong experience with business capability modeling, value stream mapping, and process design
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in public sector or regulated environments (e.g., DMV, transportation, ADOT)
- Business Architecture Guild (BIZBOK) or TOGAF certification
- Experience supporting digital transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise system implementations
- Familiarity with modeling tools (e.g., LeanIX, ArchiMate, Visio, Sparx EA)
- MBA or advanced degree

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $92,040 to $174,840 based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

California (All Other):$101,280 to $192,360
Colorado: $92,040 to $174,840
Massachusetts$92,040 to $192,360
New York City: $110,400 to $209,880
Washington: $101,280 to $192,360
Washington DC:$101,280 to $192,360
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
