In this critical leadership role, you will provide operational leadership for our aseptic filling operations, leading a team of production professionals through shift supervisors while ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient manufacture of high-quality products. This position is responsible for driving production performance, employee development, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance across the aseptic filling operation.
As a
Manufacturing Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of Aseptic Manufacturing Supervisors and production personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Direct all aseptic filling activities, including personnel planning, equipment utilization, and production scheduling to ensure achievement of the production schedule.
- Maintain overall responsibility for manufacturing execution and associated production documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GMP requirements.
- Monitor and drive key performance indicators related to safety, quality, productivity, schedule attainment, and workforce effectiveness.
- Ensure manufacturing operations comply with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, company procedures, and aseptic processing best practices.
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve issues, support investigations, and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Assess current manufacturing systems, staffing models, and operational capabilities to support future growth and production forecasts.
- Lead operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing error potential, improving efficiency, and optimizing throughput.
- Support audits, regulatory inspections, and customer visits by serving as a manufacturing subject matter expert.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies, manufacturing processes, and best practices to improve operational performance and scalability.
This position could be a great fit if you are a strong manufacturing leader with the following:
- BS in Life Sciences or Engineering or associate degree with equivalent experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or food industries
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in commercial cGMP manufacturing and knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations.
- In depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, experience in aseptic or sterile manufacturing preferred.
- Experience participating in regulatory and customer site inspections.
Starting Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 annually with consideration for relevant skills and experience
