JOB SUMMARY
The FLEX Director, Solution Roadmap Lead leads the day-to-day development, maintenance, and governance of the Solution Roadmap. This role focuses on translating inputs, maintaining roadmap data integrity, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring initiatives are structured, aligned, and execution-ready within Jira and program planning artifacts.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field or an equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years' experience managing and supporting IT systems and operations AND 5+ years' experience working as a Project Manager / Project Management Office team, using Waterfall and Agile Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience in Project Management tools (i.e., Atlassian Jira/Confluence, MS Project)
- Adaptable, efficient, proactive and effective in ensuring completion of Projects and Initiatives
Preferred
- Expertise working with Power BI, Smartsheet, and Power Automate
- Experience in conflict resolution and people management
- Expertise in reporting and analysis of the program's/initiative's status
- Experience in managing and engaging mid to high level executives
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Solution Roadmap management and updates - Maintain and update the Solution Roadmap in Jira, ensuring initiatives reflect the latest scope, priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Support the translation of business requirements into structured roadmap initiatives.
- Ensure roadmap entries maintain traceability back to business artifacts and requirements.
- Produce and maintain roadmap views for different audiences.
- Support alignment between Solution Roadmap and Integrated Management Schedule (IMS).
Initiative setup and data quality - Support the creation and refinement of initiatives in Jira, ensuring they meet TTO standards.
- Track progress against Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) criteria.
Dependency tracking and coordination - Document and maintain initiative dependencies within roadmap artifacts.
- Follow up with owners to validate and update dependencies as part of ongoing refinement.
- Support visibility into cross-train and cross-team impacts in Jira.
Coordination and Governance support - Coordinate inputs and updates from program stakeholders.
- Prepare materials and data extracts for Execution Governance meetings.
- Capture actions, decisions, and updates from roadmap discussions and ensure follow-through.
