Job DescriptionDewberry is seeking an Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer to work in its Bloomfield, NJ office. The successful candidate will be part of a team designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel and concrete construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures) using applicable software. The candidate will also be involved in the development of contract plans, the preparation of engineer's estimates and construction specifications, and performing construction support services. Required Skills & Required Experience
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferable)
- 0 - 4 years of experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency using CADD (Microstation preferred)
- A desire to work in a team environment
- Prior experience with NJDOT or NJ Turnpike Authority standards is preferred, but not required

The projected range for this position is $84,000 - $86,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
