Job DescriptionDewberry's Raleigh, NC office is seeking an Electrical Engineer, who will be responsible for the design of electrical building systems as part of a project team under the supervision of a senior engineer in our Building Services Group. Experience in the design of municipal, educational, and federal projects is desired. You will have opportunities to contribute meaningful design solutions, work alongside talented teams, and help deliver projects successfully while balancing quality, schedule, and budget goals.
In this role, you will strive toward an independent design role, project management opportunities, and / or technical subject matter expertise.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
- 3-5 years of experience providing vertical building design and construction administration services for electrical lighting, power and telecommunications systems.
- FE preferred but not required.
- Experience with NC, VA, and SC building codes is a plus.
- Experience with NC State Construction Office is a plus.
- Self-motivated and well organized.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
