Wealth Management Private Banking Operations - High Net Worth Collateral Monitoring - Director

Background on the Position

The Private Banking Operations High Net Worth Collateral Monitoring department is seeking a Director candidate. This Director is expected to perform a broad range of Operational, Regulatory compliance, and transaction/reporting functions within securities based lending collateral monitoring. A significant part of the role will be to apply a broad range operational and regulatory controls in support of transaction approvals across the security based lending products that are funded by the Morgan Stanley Banks.

The candidate should be able to communicate to Collateral Managers, Credit Risk, Technology and the field. To meet this requirement it is preferred the candidate possess comprehension of the investment markets and the rules and regulations of the financial Exchanges. Additionally, they must be capable of implementing any new firm or regulatory directives and their impact on the team's policies and procedures. Skills required

-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Visio and PowerPoint -Strong analytical skills -Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines -Ability to drive change and improve efficiencies on the team -Self-motivated and willing to assume responsibility

-Ability to supervise and develop a team of direct reports
