Vulnerability Management Analyst
This role has been designed as ''Onsite' with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.
Job Description:About Our Cybersecurity TeamAre you ready to make an impact at one of the world's leading technology companies? HPE's Cybersecurity team is where you can do just that. We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Vulnerability Management expert to join our team. If you're passionate about shaping the future of cybersecurity and ready for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
About the RoleAs a Vulnerability Management Analyst at HPE, you will play a key role in evolving how vulnerability risk is identified, understood, and prioritized across the enterprise. Rather than simply reporting vulnerabilities, you will turn data from vulnerability management, attack surface management, and internal scanning capabilities into clear, risk-based priorities that help IT teams focus remediation where it matters most. You will contribute to building a scalable vulnerability management capability that strengthens HPE's security posture.
About YouYou are an experienced vulnerability management professional with advanced expertise across vulnerability assessment, attack-surface management, continuous threat exposure management, and risk-based remediation. You can interpret complex technical findings in business context, exercise significant independent judgement, and translate vulnerability data into clear priorities and practical actions. You are comfortable solving ambiguous, high-impact issues and providing authoritative guidance across teams. You communicate complex risk clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and are motivated by building scalable automation, standards, and processes that deliver lasting risk reduction.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Applying advanced vulnerability management and attack-surface expertise to identify, assess, and interpret complex exposure across HPE's internal and external environments.
- Exercising significant independent judgement to correlate scan findings, asset criticality, threat intelligence, and business context; determining risk-based priorities and recommending proportionate remediation actions.
- Designing, building, and implementing scalable automation across the vulnerability management lifecycle, including discovery, triage, prioritization, assignment, remediation tracking, and validation.
- Using HPE's vulnerability data lake and analytical capabilities to identify systemic trends, recurring control gaps, and emerging risks, and translating findings into actionable insights for IT, Cloud, and DevOps teams.
- Leading the technical investigation of complex vulnerability and exposure issues, working across functional and technical teams to resolve blockers and drive timely, risk-based remediation.
- Developing and presenting clear, evidence-based reporting on attack-surface exposure, vulnerability trends, remediation performance, and material risk to asset owners and senior management.
- Serving as a subject-matter expert to business, IT, Cloud, DevOps, and security teams, providing authoritative guidance on vulnerability prioritization, remediation approaches, and control improvements.
- Evaluating emerging practices, tools, and technologies in vulnerability management, continuous threat exposure management, and threat intelligence, and recommending where they can strengthen HPE's capabilities.
- Defining and implementing improved processes, standards, and operating practices that reduce attack-surface exposure and mature vulnerability management in a post-Mythos environment.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science related field, or equivalent experience, desired.
- 6 years of cybersecurity experience, with a focus on vulnerability management.
- Proven experience applying advanced cybersecurity and IT security expertise to solve complex business and technical issues.
- Desired certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Vulnerability Assessor (GCVA).
