Responsibilitie
This is an internal innovative business team under ByteDance, focusing on researching products in segments related to new technology tracks and implementing AI-powered intelligent innovations. - Define the visual design language for the ecosystem, establishing a unified and scalable visual identity. - Lead the development of foundational design system elements, including typography, iconography, color systems, layouts, and components. - Design high-fidelity UI for AI products and system-level software, ensuring quality from concept exploration to final delivery. - Collaborate with UX, Motion, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between visual strategy, interaction logic, and motion behavior. - Drive the adoption and evolution of the design system across different product lines to maintain consistency and premium quality. - Research design trends and user feedback to continuously optimize visual experiences and document design methodologies.
Qualification
Minimum Qualification(s) - 5 years of experience in UI design, visual design, or user experience design. - Strong aesthetic judgment and visual craft with a portfolio of consumer-facing products. - Experience in building or scaling design systems, including tokens, components, and documentation. - System-level thinking with the ability to push visual standards from design concepts to production. Preferred Qualification(s) - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. - Experience with mobile OS products, AI interfaces, or complex digital ecosystems. - Experience working on high-quality, design-led products or complex platform-level experiences.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $121600 - $208800 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
