Quartz is seeking a visionary, growth-oriented executive leader to join its Executive Leadership Team as Vice President, Sales & Product Management. This executive will play a pivotal role in defining Quartz's future growth trajectory, overseeing enterprise sales, market expansion, product innovation, customer retention, and long-term value creation. The role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence to strengthen Quartz's competitive position and shape the future of its product portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sustainable membership growth, revenue performance, and enterprise value creation across all lines of business.
  • Define and execute an enterprise-wide growth strategy supporting expansion, retention, and profitability objectives.
  • Leverage market expertise, intelligence, analytics and customer insights to guide strategic product portfolio decisions including the product innovation roadmap, new product development and design initiatives, go-to-market strategies, and overall product lifecycle management.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with brokers, employers, provider partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with brokers, provider partners, other third parties and executive leadership to identify and leverage upon emerging opportunities, influence key decision making, mitigate enterprise risks, and strengthen Quartz’s competitive positioning.
  • Build, mentor, and retain high-performing sales and product leadership teams.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive executive leadership experience in health insurance, specifically overseeing product management, sales, growth strategy, or related disciplines.
  • 10+ years successfully leading high-performing sales and product teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention.
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling market-leading products and services within the health insurance, managed care, or healthcare industries.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive influence skills.
  • Proven success building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.

This position is based in Madison, Wisconsin. Hybrid flexibility may be available based on business needs. Regular travel throughout and presence within the Quartz service and growth markets is expected.
