Vice President

Job Description Our ESOP Valuation and Opinions practice is nationally recognized for its depth of expertise, analytical approach, and thought leadership. We are currently seeking a Vice President to join us in our Chicago, IL (Loop) office. Vice Presidents are responsible for providing thought leadership and managing a portfolio of client relationships, engagements and project teams. What you will be doing: • Leading valuation and advisory projects (Opinions and Consultancy) • Manage valuation engagements to support the ESOP Valuation practice, providing oversight of associate and analyst staff • Responsible for valuation analysis and client work product accuracy and integrity • Significant time spent coaching, training and overseeing analysts and associates • Lead client and partner meetings, presenting deliverables and justifying analysis to clients, boards, shareholders and trustees • Participate in ESOP industry events and conferences, including presentations, webinars, relationship management, and/or business development. • Operational efficiency in keeping internal reporting systems up to date (Sage Intacct, Salesforce) What do we look for in candidates? • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/economics; MBA or relevant advanced degree or certification (CPA, CFA) preferred. • Six - Ten years of previous experience developing financial models, managing valuation engagements, transactions involving stock ownership and other financial advisory projects • Deep understanding and application of valuation theory and corporate finance • Ability to present complex analysis and/or communicate difficult messaging to project teams, clients, boards, shareholders and trustees • Independently lead projects • Ability to lead and mentor staff • Highly effective communication, analytical and problem-solving capabilities Salary Range: $125,000 - $220,000, with additional discretionary bonus Benefits Statement: At Prairie Capital Advisors, we believe in fostering a supportive and enriching environment that promotes the well-being of our employees both professionally and personally.
