Full Job Description
Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run tribology test equipment and undertake data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Participate and give technical guidance for product development.
  • Provide tribology support to relevant functions within the wider organization.
  • Carry out component failure analysis and complete appropriate testing on prepared samples.
  • Occasional formal and informal presentations to management and/or customers.


Qualifications:

  • BS or higher in Tribology, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field.
  • 1-5 years work experience in an R&D environment.
  • Experience with tribology test rigs preferred.
  • Practical experience with bearings, gears, chains or other industry components preferred.
  • CAD construction skills desired.
