This is a developmental, early-career advisory role: the Advisor will work under the direct mentorship of the Managing Director, Technology Advisory, building foundational expertise in data center technology (DCIM, CMMS, BMS/NOC platforms) while supporting the Data Center Center of Excellence and account teams on growth strategy, customer sentiment, and operational issue resolution. The role reports directly to, and is mentored by, the Managing Director, Technology Advisory, and works closely with the Director, Product Management - Data Center Technology & Robotics to build early fluency in the product roadmap and how it connects to client strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Client Technology Strategy & Growth (Supporting)
  • Support the Managing Director and account teams in developing technology strategies that expand JLL's footprint (DCIM, CMMS, BMS/NOC, and intelligent operations platforms) across assigned accounts
  • Research and maintain platform and competitive intelligence (e.g., Schneider EcoStruxure, Vertiv Trellis, IBM TRIRIGA/Envizi, Nlyte, Device42) to inform advisory recommendations
  • Help identify whitespace opportunities within existing accounts and assist in building supporting materials for sales and account leadership
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables, briefing materials, and business case drafts under the Managing Director's direction

Customer Sentiment & Account Partnership (Learning & Supporting)
  • Shadow and assist the Managing Director in client-facing meetings, building toward independent client engagement over time
  • Help account teams track client sentiment signals and flag emerging risks or opportunities for the Managing Director's attention
  • Support renewal, expansion, and RFP efforts with research, positioning materials, and proof points

Operational Escalation & Resolution (Assisting)
  • Assist in tracking and coordinating data center technology delivery issues - implementation, UAT, integration, and change order challenges - escalating to the Managing Director as needed
  • Help document root-cause patterns across accounts (e.g., change order management, approval workflows, schedule risk) to support playbook development
  • Support technology risk tracking for go-lives and stabilization periods under senior guidance

Cross-Functional Technology Partnership
  • Work closely with the Center of Excellence and the Director, Product Management - Data Center Technology & Robotics to build fluency in current and planned product capability
  • Help capture and relay client and market signal into the product roadmap process
  • Participate in Technology Advisory team collaboration across verticals to learn shared methodology and advisory standards

Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in data center infrastructure, DCIM/BMS/NOC technology, enterprise facilities technology, or a related technology/consulting field
  • Working knowledge of, or strong aptitude to quickly learn, DCIM platforms and data center operations technology (power, cooling, capacity planning, asset management)
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, client-friendly materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable supporting meetings with account and client stakeholders
  • Eagerness to be mentored and to grow into an independent client-facing advisory role

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to corporate real estate, facilities management, or outsourced CRE service delivery
  • Familiarity with JLL's technology stack (TRIRIGA, Corrigo, Workplace OS, Azara) or comparable enterprise CRE/DCIM platforms
  • Prior internship, rotational, or early-career experience supporting product management or product owner functions
  • Exposure to RFP response processes or technology-led sales pursuits

What You'll Bring
  • Curiosity and a fast-learning mindset for building deep data center technology expertise
  • Solid analytical skills for evaluating technology platforms, vendor landscapes, and account-level information
  • A collaborative, coachable approach to working closely with a senior mentor and cross-functional teams
  • Reliability and follow-through in supporting fast-moving client and account priorities
