Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex engineering programs and customer engagements from planning through delivery. This role serves as the bridge between customers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders, driving execution across ASIC, FPGA, hardware, firmware, software, and electrical engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong program management skills with prior hands-on engineering experience and can effectively lead technical discussions, manage customer relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex engineering programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing weekly updates and program reviews.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, software, and electrical engineering.
  • Drive risk management, issue resolution, and dependency tracking.
  • Align engineering priorities with customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Support resource planning, prioritization, and new business initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or Technical Project Leadership.
  • Prior hands-on experience in ASIC, FPGA, embedded systems, firmware, hardware, or semiconductor development.
  • Experience leading customer-facing technical programs.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Required Technical Background

Candidates must have prior hands-on engineering experience and the ability to engage with technical teams on development, risks, and delivery strategies.

Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of the complete chip design lifecycle, including DFT, DFM, control interfaces, I/O, clocking, power management, and system integration.
  • Understanding of:
    • Synthesis flows and static timing analysis (STA).
    • Test bench creation and functional verification experience.
  • RTL development experience using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
  • Experience using Python, Bash, and Tcl.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard ASIC design tools:
    • Synopsys (Design Compiler, PrimeTime)
    • Cadence (Genus, Tempus)
    • Siemens/Mentor Graphics (Questa, ModelSim)

Preferred Experience
  • Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, or Engineering Manager experience.
  • ASIC, FPGA, semiconductor, or embedded systems product development.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related certifications.
