Systems Engineer
The Opportunity:

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape GPS missions by leading an engineering effort. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, Test Manager, or Lead Tester
  • 5+ years of experience developing test strategies, including test vectors, test plans, and procedures
  • 5+ years of experience with cryptography and information assurance processes
  • Knowledge of White Box and Black Box testing, planning, processes, and execution, ensuring compliance with program protection and IA requirements
  • Knowledge of security protocol requirements and compliance criteria
  • Ability to engage with vendors, integrators, and government stakeholders to ensure alignment with system security requirements, technical standards, and certification processes
  • Ability to provide technical assessment, audits, and security impact assessments to drive Program Office decision-making
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering


Nice If You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with GPS systems, navigation technologies, PNT resilience efforts, or GPS modernization programs
  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs, including requirements development, technical baseline management, and milestone documentation
  • Experience with COMSEC procedures, Type 1 or FIPS-compliant cryptographic systems, and key distribution and handling requirements
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
