Structural Project Executive | Dallas, TX
IMEG is hiring a Structural Project Executive in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will assist the Client Executive in managing the team by developing and maintaining client relationships while overseeing large projects within one or more markets. You will serve as Project Manager on most assigned work and help grow new and repeat business.
You will support project financial success, coordinate with marketing and technical operations, and provide leadership and mentoring to senior staff. This role is closely connected to structural work across civic, education, aviation, infrastructure, and facility assessment efforts in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, contributing to sustainable design goals including SE2050.

What You'll Do
- Grow the team’s project pipeline by building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for new business and repeat engagements.
- Stay visible and active in the market and within the IMEG Selling Boldly program.
- Manage client and project fees with a total aggregate value of approximately $2M.
- Bring in new projects on a regular basis, including contributing to approximately $1M in new annual fees.
- Promote staff understanding of business development principles, client relationships, market positioning, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Participate in promotional activities and client interviews that establish IMEG as an expert in selective markets.
- Serve as Project Manager on most assigned projects and coordinate business development opportunities with the Client Executive and marketing department.
- Participate in local and corporate market-focused organizations and meetings to help keep the team aligned on market changes, trends, and business development messaging.
- Support the financial success of managed or directed projects, including assisting with accounts receivable collection.
- Support technical training and consistency across teams, update the marketing database with leads and proposals, and provide leadership and mentoring to senior staff on client relations and project management.
What You'll Bring
Required
Education and Experience
- Significant stock ownership representing, at a minimum, a clear, forward focused path to the Associate Principal level
- Minimum 10 years required, 15 years preferred, of project management, construction management, or related experience
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Expert level mastery of the technical aspects of one’s discipline
- Demonstrated aptitude to design/manage major projects
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and lead others
- Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise
- Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
- Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or higher, in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a similar related field preferred

- Texas structural team supporting civic, education, aviation, infrastructure, and facility assessment work across Dallas-Fort Worth and broader Texas markets.
- Texas-based structural team with a strong public-sector and existing-building specialty, including forensics, facility condition assessments, historic preservation/adaptive reuse, detention/courthouse work, and parking garage restoration.
- Recent work includes Tarrant County / Fort Worth, TX / Law Enforcement Training Center, Government (City/County/State), and City of Fort Worth / Fort Worth, TX / Fort Worth Convention Center Phase 2 - New Construction, Government (City/County/State).
