Full Job Description
Join the Dev360 Team as Staff Data Business Analyst! The Dev360 Team plays a crucial role in supporting Intuit's mission by providing a comprehensive view of how its applications are performing, enabling data-driven decisions to enhance customer experiences and improve operational efficiency.

Our charter is to enable Intuit's engineers and leaders to have:
  • Access all the operational data they need, when they need it, to understand how our products are performing in the real world.
  • Easily track every step of the software development lifecycle, from code commits to customer adoption, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to building a cutting-edge data platform that empowers data-driven decisions across the entire company.


Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end data analytics across concurrent operational excellence, development productivity, and cloud finops transformation initiatives, such as metric redesign, BI modernization, AI for operational intelligence etc, ensuring data models remain consistent and scalable across domains.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business strategy and reporting needs into precise, actionable data requirements, and surfacing technical constraints or trade-offs back to business leaders before they impact delivery.
  • Drive the modernization of data consumption patterns - partnering with engineering to redesign how financial and operational data is structured, accessed, and consumed across reporting, planning, and analytics platforms.
  • Define and safeguard data integrity standards across business processes, ensuring that new data models, mappings, and integrations preserve business continuity through periods of active system transformation.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize analytics and insight delivery - moving teams from static or manual reporting toward scalable, self-service, and forward-looking analytics capabilities.
  • Guide resourcing, solution design, and delivery standards for a growing data analytics practice, mentoring analysts and building technical bench strength as scope expands.
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance, engineering, and planning teams to ensure data requirements support both immediate reporting needs and long-term analytics strategy.
  • Proactively surface risks related to data quality, structure, or continuity during system transformations, and recommend mitigations grounded in business impact.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on data structure and consumption patterns, advising leadership on how transformation decisions in one domain affect downstream analytics and reporting capabilities.


Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related data-focused roles, with demonstrated experience owning requirements across multiple, concurrent data domains.
  • Proven experience acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Strong experience with financial systems, cloud finops, and planning/analytics applications; familiarity with chart of accounts structures and finance data models preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to modernize data consumption and reporting patterns, including experience transitioning teams toward self-service or scalable analytics solutions.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple systems; experience with modern data platforms (e.g., cloud data warehouses, BI tools) preferred.
  • Experience guiding or mentoring analysts, with the ability to set delivery standards and build technical capability within a growing team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate scope and trade-offs with senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment for navigating ambiguity and assessing downstream impacts of data decisions across domains.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing hands-on technical ownership with practice-level leadership responsibilities.


Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Mountain View $169,500 - $229,000
Mountain View, CA $169,500- $229,000
San Diego, CA $151,000- $204,000
