Full Job Description
Sr. Quality Engineer.

What you'll do:

This Sr. Quality Engineer will ensure compliance throughout the organization on major programs from product design through manufacturing and product support. Assign tasks to and direct engineers, technicians and inspectors staff. Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of the Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering work. Prepares reports and schedules QA activities within projects. Assists with proposals to provide professional services or cost estimations for engineering projects or programs.

Primary Responsibilities
• Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
• Assist Quality manager, in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
• Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
• Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
• Review and approve changes to Drawings, Specifications, Manufacturing Job Instructions, Travelers, etc. to assure continued compliance to approved data.
• Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
• Lead customer meetings and follow CA implementation
• Lead Corrective actions and Nonconformance product resolution.
• Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Manage suppliers' performance and conduct audits.
• Preparation of QA reports.
• Any other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven professional attitude during the execution of an audit or conformity.
• Problem solving methodology (5 Why's?, Ishikawa, 8D's, etc.)

Education/Previous Experience Requirements
• Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9000
• Proven experience in the metal-mechanical industry.
• Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) interpretation.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• High-level MS Office computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel and others.
• English level - Advanced
