WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tealium is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to join the Enterprise Product Team. As part of the Tealium Product team, you will build an ecosystem of products that power customer data infrastructure and insights for some of the world's largest brands. We are looking for an autonomous, strategic thinker who proactively utilizes AI and modern tools to solve complex problems and deliver measurable, high-impact business outcomes. This role is a unique opportunity to independently steer product direction and bring to market features that transform how brands engage with and get closer to their customers.

This role requires strong ownership, resourcefulness, data-driven decision-making, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration to solve complex problems and accelerate product outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

YOUR DAY TO DAY
  • Own the vision, roadmap, prioritization, and end-to-end execution for data collection capabilities across web, server-side, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Define and communicate a clear product direction for helping customers collect data that is accurate, governed, consent-aware, secure, and ready for activation and analysis.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand collection workflows, implementation challenges, regulatory requirements, and unmet needs.
  • Translate changes in privacy regulation, consent expectations, customer needs, technology, and market dynamics into strategic product opportunities.
  • Shape the evolution of event-based data collection, including event schemas, data quality, validation, observability, and interoperability.
  • Break down complex problems and large, cross-functional initiatives into clear, incremental deliverables that teams can plan, build, test, and release.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, success measures, and delivery milestones that create shared clarity across teams.
  • Partner closely with engineering and architecture to design scalable solutions that account for upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to validate opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, measure outcomes, and continuously refine the product strategy.
  • Provide clear prioritization and decision-making for engineering teams while balancing customer value, technical investment, operational reliability, and business impact.
  • Support go-to-market and adoption efforts through enablement, documentation, product demonstrations, customer conversations, and launch planning.


WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
  • 7+ years as a Product Manager building SaaS products, with proven success driving customer adoption and retention
  • Deep knowledge of digital data collection, including client-side and server-side tracking, SDKs, APIs, data layers, event pipelines, and collection architectures.
  • Strong understanding of event schemas, tracking plans, and data validation
  • Experience building or managing products that support complex, customized implementations with significant upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Practical knowledge of consent management, privacy requirements, data governance, data security, and the impact of regulatory obligations on collection design.
  • Experience working with customers in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, or the public sector, where privacy, security, auditability, and reliability are critical.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical systems and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to break down ambiguous problems and large initiatives into focused, measurable increments while maintaining a clear connection to the broader strategy.
  • Strong product discovery and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes, test hypotheses, evaluate alternatives, and make informed decisions with incomplete information.
  • Track record of influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders through clear communication, sound judgment, and a strong customer perspective.
  • Experience defining and using success metrics related to data quality, reliability, governance, customer adoption, and business outcomes.
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability, with the ability to move work forward in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.


WAGE TRANSPARENCY

In many U.S. states, employers are required to include a pay range for posted positions. Although this isn't a requirement in every state, communicating transparently is a cornerstone of our operations at Tealium, and we believe in making this information available to all applicants.

The U.S. pay range for this full-time position is listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for a robust benefits package that includes the following:
  • Employees are eligible to receive an annual bonus and stock options.
  • Employees and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and are eligible to receive contributions for company matching.
  • Employees are eligible for flexible paid time-off and extended paid parental leave.
  • We offer 11 paid holidays annually with an additional Healium Be-Well break for most employees.
  • We offer 15 hours of paid work time for volunteer activities and programs.
  • Our sick leave accrual is the following for our employees:
    • Exempt CA employees (not including San Francisco) including NY : accrue 40 hours each year. Unused sick leave carries over into the next year. Employees cannot exceed 80 hours in a given year.
    • Exempt Non - CA employees (not including NY) including SF: Accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Cannot exceed 180 hours in the calendar year.
    • Non-Exempt: accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Unused carries over to the next year. Not to exceed 108 hours in a calendar year.

Compensation Range- $150,000- $175,000 + Variable + Equity Options
