WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tealium is seeking a results-driven Sr. Client Director to own the commercial strategy, retention, and growth of a portfolio of high-value enterprise customers. This is a sales-focused account management role responsible for protecting and expanding recurring revenue, developing expansion pipeline, and increasing Tealium's strategic footprint across assigned accounts.

As the commercial owner of each account, you will develop and execute strategic account plans that align Tealium's capabilities with customers' most important business initiatives. You will identify and create new revenue opportunities, lead renewal and expansion strategies, drive product adoption that supports future growth, and proactively manage risks that could impact retention or revenue. Success will be measured by your ability to deliver against renewal, expansion, NRR, and account growth targets.

The ideal candidate brings a strong enterprise sales mentality to account management. You have a proven ability to uncover opportunities within complex organizations, build and maintain expansion pipeline, navigate sophisticated buying processes, and develop multi-threaded relationships from practitioners through executive leadership. You are comfortable leading commercial negotiations, creating compelling business cases, and connecting customer priorities to measurable outcomes that drive additional investment in Tealium.

You will partner closely with Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, Support, Product, and other internal teams, while maintaining clear ownership of the commercial relationship and account growth strategy. You will use customer data, account intelligence, and AI-enabled workflows to identify whitespace, prioritize opportunities, improve forecast accuracy, mitigate churn and downsell risk, and continuously expand Tealium's value within each customer.

This is a remote U.S. role supporting customers across the Western United States. Candidates based in the Western U.S. are strongly preferred to support alignment with customer time zones and facilitate travel throughout the region based on customer and business needs.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Build and maintain a healthy expansion pipeline by identifying whitespace, uncovering new business initiatives and use cases, and proactively creating opportunities across the Tealium platform.

  • Build compelling business cases and expansion proposals that connect customer priorities and business outcomes to Tealium's capabilities, demonstrating measurable value and ROI.
  • Partner with Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, Support, Product, and Marketing to drive successful customer outcomes, accelerate adoption, and identify opportunities for additional growth.
  • Leverage product usage, customer health signals, account intelligence, and AI-enabled tools to identify whitespace, prioritize opportunities, mitigate churn and downsell risk, and inform account strategy.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting, providing accurate visibility into renewals, expansion opportunities, risks, next steps, and expected outcomes.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to expand Tealium's strategic footprint by introducing new products, capabilities, and use cases aligned with each customer's evolving business priorities.
