Position Purpose: The Sr. Analyst, Pricing Operations, is responsible for aggregation of data, preparation and consolidation of reports and dashboards for stakeholders and support analysis and generation of insights related to CSL's government utilization. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will execute pricing changes in both internal/external systems, validate executed contract price implemented, perform data integrity checks, and support team cross-functionality to ensure operational excellence, as well as supporting Pricing Committee activities.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities 1. Aggregate source data for all Sales, Rebates and other Price concessions for the GP team and other GTN/financial analyses. Review data attributes are appropriately aligned to defined values and assigned correctly; remediate errors with appropriate stakeholders to ensure data integrity in advance of preparing reports.
2. Produce monthly/quarterly reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders. Develop KPIs, processes and/or reporting tools that improve visibility into operational performance and support ongoing process efficiency.
3. Validation tracking of executed pricing/discounts terms for new items and update master data contract list for new terms (including prices, discounts, rebates & fees). Alert GP team for items that may require additional consideration in GP calcs.
4. Assist in coordination of agenda, managing documentation, and tracking decisions of items presented at the Pricing Committee (or-sub-committee) in support of PC Secretary. Include updates for all proposals that impact net price.
5. Coordinate pricing changes with SPC, Customer Support and Pricing Compendium. Respond to inquiries related to 340b refunds, compendia queries or other stakeholder requests.
6. Contribute to maintaining and updating all Pricing Operations related documentation of internal control procedures and job aids on a regular basis to ensure they reflect up-to-date processes, compliance and audit readiness, in coordination with the Associate Director, Pricing & Government Reporting. This includes ensuring alignment to implemented Policies & Procedures.
7. Prepare ad hoc analyses to support GP, Rebate Operations and Transparency as requested.
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives through processes and technology enhancements that improve the accuracy, speed and insights related to master data, GP, and rebate programs across CSL's growing portfolio of products.
9. Participate in and provide support for internal audits of program administration, payment calculations, rebate processing and compliance.
Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Life Sciences, or Healthcare Policy.
Experience: - 2-5 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience.
- Knowledge of the Government programs, pricing, gross-to-net, or contract/rebate operations.
- Experience with Revenue Management systems. Model N preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to function independently, critical thinking, prioritization and coordination of job responsibilities
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office software to include but not limited to Excel, Word Power point.
