Responsibilities- Develop, analyze, and report on key operational financial metrics, including cost of goods sold, inventory turns, distribution costs, and labor productivity.
- Partner with operational teams to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost savings opportunities, process improvements, and revenue growth initiatives within operations.
- Prepare financial models and business cases for capital expenditure requests, new projects, and operational changes.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by ensuring accurate financial reporting for operational expenses and related accounts.
- Perform variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast, providing clear explanations and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and IT, to optimize operational efficiency and financial outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures related to operational activities.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management and operational stakeholders.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong emphasis on operational finance, cost accounting, or supply chain finance.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Advanced Excel skills required (will be possibly working with Google Sheets in the future)
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g. Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various levels of management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
