Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in Gurnee, IL.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Start Date: August 2026
Location: Woodland School District
Role Type: Special Education Teacher, Self-Contained Classroom
Role Details: Elementary School K-2nd grade
Service Area: Instructional support, IEP collaboration, progress monitoring

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support to students with IEPs in a resource setting
  • Develop and implement instructional strategies tailored to individual learning goals
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress
  • Participate in staff meetings and school-wide initiatives
