- Responsible for architecture, designing, development and ownership of critical platform services.
- Design, develop, and operate a Kubernetes based public cloud platform to host Workday's applications.
- Deliver products to customers and ensure high availability, security, performance and cost efficiency across major public clouds and its own private clouds.
- Write code and automation to build, operate and maintain the orchestration of the platform.
- Build continuous delivery pipelines to provision/upgrade the platform across regions and clouds through automation.
- *Position may allow for partial telecommuting.
Salary RangeAbout YouBasic Qualifications- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis, or one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation, involving each of the following:
- Systems and Operations experience on a Public Cloud platform;
- Agile environments or Agile development methodologies;
- Running server orchestration solutions in production using Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker Swarm, or other solutions; and
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
