Position Description & Qualifications
Position Overview:
The NAVSEA AUKUS Integration & Acquisition (I&A) program office is seeking an organized, proactive, and mission-oriented Action Officer to support the Phase 2 Mission Systems Team.
Must possess a U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.
This is a full-time on-site position.
In this role, you will:
Strategic planning and coordination of program-wide execution activities.
Support development of integrated plans.
Facilitate integrated schedule and risk analysis.
Coordinate official travel and events.
Prepare, issue, mail, and file official correspondence.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance office efficiency and effectiveness.
Support fleet and inter-agency integration with the AUKUS program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Must possess DoW Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 6 years of government or military related experience.
Service onboard a US nuclear-powered warship, experience working in NAVSEA Team Submarine, or similar experience.
Ability to work on-site at the Serco offices in Washington, D.C. up to full time with frequent local travel to the Washington Navy Yard based upon the needs of the client.There is some opportunity for up to 10% travel to partner and industry stakeholder locations.
