About the Role:The Senior Underwriter is a key member of the underwriting team reporting to the Regional Underwriting Manager. The primary goal of this position is to profitably grow a book of business by actively partnering with Agents and working effectively with colleagues throughout the organization. This person will plan and budget for the book of business, develop and maintain agency relationships, and execute underwriting decisions.

- Business Management: Reviewing your book of business, tracking performance, and analyzing market conditions and competition.
- Broker Partnership: Building and managing broker relationships, developing goals and strategies, and collaborating to craft tailored solutions for members.
- Underwriting Execution: Oversee new and renewal underwriting, select risks per company guidelines, and ensure timely follow-up and closing of accounts.
What You'll Need:
You have at least 5 years of experience underwriting, preferably in the high net worth space and you are comfortable owning a book of business. Direct, empathetic communication is a staple in every aspect of your day, and you thrive on building connections with people. Current P&C and E&S broker licenses preferred, must obtain within first 45 and 60 days of hire respectively if you don’t already possess them. You know how to gather and analyze all the data you’ll need to make a decision on a risk. You work with pride and determination.
