Responsibilities
We're looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead cross-functional technical programs across multiple domains at a global scale, including Data Lifecycle Governance, Privacy Products, and Business Risk Control. In this role, you will closely partner with Product, Engineering, Operations and broader stakeholders to build and implement scalable, auditable and globally compliant solutions to better protect TikTok users' data privacy, uphold compliance, safeguard TikTok community integrity, while driving continuous engineering efficiency improvements. Responsibilities: - Lead cross-functional technical program management from planning through launch, ensuring high-quality execution across global teams. - Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Privacy & Security SMEs, and other global stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable and compliant solutions. - Identify and mitigate risks, manage cross-functional dependencies, and remove execution blockers throughout the program/project lifecycle. - Own program/project communications, providing timely & clear visibility into project status, milestones, risks and mitigation plan, and key decisions. - Define and leverage program/project metrics to measure execution health, identify value-add opportunities, and drive ROI & success measurement. - Monitor product and engineering efficiency through key metrics tracking, and derive actionable insights to drive continuous improvements. - Translate evolving business needs and complex scope into clearly defined priorities while maintaining a focus on critical path execution.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s) - Bachelor's degree or above. - Proven track record leading technical programs at scale, or equivalent experience in related fields. - Strong Technical/Engineering acumen with solid software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience across Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC). - Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills, with strong attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and cross-timezone global teams. Preferred Qualification(s): - Experience in Privacy Products, User Lifecycle Data Management/Governance, and digital content/platform compliance; - Experience driving initiatives related to system stability, engineering quality/efficiency, or solution architecture. - Experience managing software development programs in privacy or risk control-related domains, with understanding of user-facing product features and industry regulations.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $212800 - $387600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
