Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program (PMA-242). This Program Office is responsible for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of direct and time sensitive strike weapons. The primary focus of this position is on the development of the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile - Extended Range (AARGM-ER), a next-generation weapon system designed to enhance strike capabilities against advanced threats. Additional responsibilities will include support for the legacy High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM), AGM-88. This is an on-site position at PMA-242 Program Office. Travel requirements are one to two weeks per quarter.

The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:
  • Perform tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks.
  • Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise.
  • Engineering support for the development of the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile - Extended Range (ARGM-ER)
  • Engineering support for the High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM), AGM-88.
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Apply systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems and perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems.
  • Performs programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems.
  • Guides the engineering development of modern complex systems.

Qualifications

  • Must have a have a master's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university or a bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience.
  • Must have minimum of ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, three (3) years of which must be directly related to DoD systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must be a US Citizen

Compensation Statement

At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $148,330.00 - $164,420.00
