Full Job Description
The Senior Strategy Analyst Reports to the Director of Strategy supports the development of corporate, segment, and functional strategic priorities. This role partners with business leaders and members of the Strategy Office to conduct business analyses, evaluate strategic opportunities, support Board of Directors reporting, and develop insights and recommendations that inform decision-making.

The Senior Strategy Analyst supports strategic planning efforts through data analysis, benchmarking, business case development, and executive-level reporting. This role helps assess strategic alternatives, evaluate business impacts, and identify opportunities to improve organizational performance and achieve strategic objectives. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations, and effective communication skills to support strategic planning and business decision-making.

Responsibilities
• Support the development of corporate, segment, and functional strategies and strategic goals through research, analysis, and recommendations.
• Translate complex findings into clear, compelling executive-ready presentations that effectively convey strategic priorities and recommendations.
• Conduct business, financial, operational, and organizational analyses to identify opportunities, risks, and strategic implications and generate actionable insights for leadership.
• Assist in the development of the annual enterprise business planning process.
• Support the development of the enterprise growth strategy, including product portfolio analysis, multiyear growth planning, and the development of business cases and financial projections
• Build collaborative relationships across the organization to support strategy development and facilitate information sharing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor's degree required with a specialization in Health Care Administration, Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; or relevant, equivalent experience.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Experience
• Three to five years of experience in healthcare, strategy, business planning, corporate development, consulting, or a related analytical field.
• Experience supporting strategy development, business planning, organizational transformation, or strategic initiatives.
• Prior experience within a healthcare payer, management consulting, or healthcare strategy environment preferred.

Knowledge & Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Experience conducting business analysis, benchmarking, strategic planning, and performance assessments.
• Ability to develop and present recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level presentations and reports, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and payer business models preferred.

Hybrid

Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
