Full Job Description
About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Infrastructure Investor team as a Senior Reporter in our New York office! The senior reporter will play a key part - together with Infrastructure Investor's Americas editor and Editor-in-Chief - in driving our North American coverage, across short and long-form formats. The role enjoys a good degree of autonomy in that the person performing it is expected to take the lead in generating story ideas, features and so forth, based on a strong contact book. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key managers, investors and advisors is crucial to the role. As is the ability to leverage those relationships to produce exclusive, proprietary content that is unavailable elsewhere.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Pitch content ideas and canvass the latest trends and developments in the asset class.
  • Generate exclusive and proprietary content on a regular basis.
  • Assist with curating our content hubs and newsletter send-outs.
  • Host, transcribe and write roundtables.
  • Constant interaction with the market, keeping in touch with existing sources and developing new contacts to consolidate brand awareness and cultivate stories.
  • Ensure optimal use of complementary data, involving close collaboration with Research & Analytics, where appropriate.
  • When appropriate, collaborate with the PEI Events team, and moderate discussions at events hosted by the Company.
