Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior RAM Engineer to lead Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) activities for major railway and transit projects. The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure railway systems meet performance, operational, and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead RAM engineering activities across design, testing, commissioning, and operations phases.
  • Develop RAM plan, RAM demonstration plan, FRACAS procedure and RAM Deliverables.
  • Perform and review FMEA/FMECA, FTA, reliability predictions, availability modeling.
  • Allocate and verify RAM requirements for systems and subsystems.
  • Support design reviews and supplier evaluations.
  • Analyze operational data and recommend reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Safety, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
  • Support client meetings, technical workshops, and project reviews.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or related discipline).
  • 8+ years of experience in RAM/RAMS engineering, including experience in railway or transit projects.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability, availability, maintainability, and life-cycle engineering principles.
  • Experience with railway systems such as signaling, rolling stock, communications, power, or infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with EN 50126 and other relevant railway standards.
  • Knowledge on MIL-HDBK-217 FN2, NPRD,FMD, MIL-STD-1629A or similar standards.
  • Experience with RAM tools such as Isograph, ReliaSoft, RAM Commander, or equivalent is a must.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
  • Technical knowledge on main subsystems of a railway turnkey project.
  • Experience in reading and understanding technical requirements.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
